A Workstation Console of the Robotic System

To operate through a robotic system, the surgeon manipulates controls from inside a workstation console a few feet from the operating table. Binoculars equipped with a high-resolution 3-D imaging system enable the surgeon to guide the robotic endoscopic instruments at the operating table with hand and finger movements that are precisely relayed to the instruments.
