Educational Opportunities

Continuing Education Programs

Mayo Clinic in Florida offers a growing number of seminars and courses ranging in length from several hours to several days. Programs cover a variety of subjects and provide Category 1 CME credit. Graduate Medical Education

Mayo Clinic in Florida continues Mayo's strong tradition of commitment to graduate education. The clinic provides a variety of educational opportunities through:

  • A transitional year residency program
  • Residency programs in dermatology, family medicine, general surgery,
    internal medicine and radiology
  • 22 fellowships in various specialties and subspecialties

Residency and fellowship rotations of one to four months also are available. Medical student clerkships are offered to fourth-year medical students from accredited schools across the United States. In addition, internships for students enrolled in allied health training programs are available.
