Lynch Syndrome

Treatment in Florida

Expert, compassionate and collaborative care for patients and families is a hallmark of Mayo Clinic in Florida. People who have or are at risk of Lynch syndrome work with a team of specialists that includes gastroenterologists, interventional radiologists, oncologists, colorectal surgeons and medical geneticists. Additional specialists collaborate with the primary team to evaluate and treat any problems that develop outside the colon.

Colon and rectal surgeons at Mayo Clinic in Florida have particular experience and expertise in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) procedures that preserve healthy tissue and maintain normal bowel function. Almost all colorectal procedures at Mayo Clinic are performed using minimally invasive techniques.
