Types
Many types of lymphoma exist. What type of lymphoma you have helps determine your treatment options.
Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, which includes:
- Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma
- Chronic lymphocytic leukemia and the related small lymphocytic lymphoma
- Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, which occurs in two main types, mycosis fungoides and Sezary syndrome
- Follicular lymphoma
- Marginal zone lymphoma
- Peripheral T-cell lymphoma
- Mantle cell lymphoma
- Primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma
- Burkitt lymphoma
- Lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (which includes Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia)
Hodgkin's lymphoma (formerly called Hodgkin's disease), which includes:
- Classic Hodgkin's lymphoma
- Nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin's lymphoma
