Lymphoma

Types

Many types of lymphoma exist. What type of lymphoma you have helps determine your treatment options.

Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, which includes:

  • Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma
  • Chronic lymphocytic leukemia and the related small lymphocytic lymphoma
  • Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, which occurs in two main types, mycosis fungoides and Sezary syndrome
  • Follicular lymphoma
  • Marginal zone lymphoma
  • Peripheral T-cell lymphoma
  • Mantle cell lymphoma
  • Primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma
  • Burkitt lymphoma
  • Lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (which includes Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia)

Hodgkin's lymphoma (formerly called Hodgkin's disease), which includes:

  • Classic Hodgkin's lymphoma
  • Nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin's lymphoma
