Care Team Roles
An integrated team of doctors trained in many medical specialties works together to ensure favorable outcomes from your lung transplant.
Your transplant team may include transplant doctors, transplant surgeons, a transplant coordinator, a clinical nurse specialist, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pulmonary rehabilitation specialists, pharmacists, a dietitian and a financial representative.
