The ALS Center staff includes doctors with training in neuromuscular conditions (neurologists), physical and occupational therapists, a speech and language pathologist, a social worker, a nutrition specialist (dietitian), a breathing (respiratory) therapist and a nurse coordinator. The ALS Association has certified the Mayo Clinic ALS Center in Arizona as a Center of Excellence.
