Laser Eye Surgery

Research

Laser vision correction has been performed very successfully over the last decade, but the longer-term consequences of these elective procedures are still unknown. Mayo vision researchers are actively conducting unique long-term research on patients who had LASIK surgery 10 years ago to determine its effects on the eye. Read more about cornea research at Mayo.

Publications

See a list of publications by Mayo Clinic physicians and researchers on laser eye surgery on PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine.
