The Division of Experimental Pathology is focused on translational and basic science studies of the pathobiology of human disease. The translational goals are to improve clinical diagnosis, to develop better markers of patient prognosis and to discover novel therapeutic targets. These research activities are performed in state-of-the-art research laboratories. The Division of Experimental Pathology fosters peer-reviewed, extramurally-funded research activities. It also fosters postdoctoral training and staff career development.
