Kidney Transplant

Treatment of Children

Mayo Clinic in Rochester's pediatric kidney transplantation program includes pediatric physicians and surgeons who specialize in caring for children with kidney disease.

Comprehensive medical and surgical treatment is available, including peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. We believe this setting provides the best health care for these patients and leads to the best results. Hospital care is based in the Mayo Eugenio Litta Children's Hospital, a family-friendly, state-of-the-art facility providing comprehensive acute care in a compassionate setting. Transplant options include living donor and cadaver kidney transplants.
