The Administrative Fellowship Program prepares fellows for health care administration leadership opportunities within the Mayo Clinic system through direct participation in activities designed to build and strengthen essential administrative skills. As a Mayo Clinic administrative fellow you will:

  • Acquire and refine managerial competencies, including analytical, persuasive and human relations skills
  • Develop an awareness and understanding of Mayo Clinic organizational structure and the interrelation between departments and personnel
  • Receive individualized mentoring from a wide array of administrators and physicians
  • Establish a performance record through project work and departmental staff responsibilities

Administrative fellows are encouraged to apply for available positions at Mayo Clinic following completion of the program. The majority of administrative fellows have accepted positions at Mayo for their first post-Administrative Fellowship Program assignment.
