Students Across the Globe Recognize Mayo Clinic as an Ideal Employer
College students throughout the globe have named Mayo Clinic an Ideal Employer for the 10th straight year, according to a Universum survey of nearly 47,000 undergraduates and 2,500 MBA students.
Universum annually surveys thousands of students at universities throughout the U.S. and 22 other countries to measure perceptions and opinions of the working world.
Recognition in Universum's surveys is not purchased or by application. Rather, student respondents identify which organizations they deem to be ideal.
In the 2014 survey, Mayo Clinic ranked as the No. 2 overall employer among natural science students. Additionally, Mayo ranked highly among other student cohorts, including liberal arts (No. 23), engineering (No. 39), business (No. 67) and MBA (No. 79).
Survey data are gathered in three categories — undergraduate, diversity and MBA — to generate rankings and metrics that are used to help companies attract, recruit and retain top talent.
The information has become the industry standard for benchmarking the opinions of industry leaders of tomorrow and is recognized in The Wall Street Journal and other leading business and collegiate media.
