Nursing in Arizona

Nursing Graduate Support Program
Application

The Nursing Graduate Support Program has two opportunities:

  • Intensive care unit (candidates without ICU experience will not be considered)
  • Medical/surgical unit

If you would like to be considered for both positions, please apply separately for each.

Requirements

To be eligible for the Nursing Graduate Support Program, you must have:

  • Successfully completed nursing studies and have graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an associate degree or Bachelor of Science degree in nursing
  • Graduated within the past 12 months or will graduate prior to the start of the program
  • Achieved an overall cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

The New Nursing Graduate Support Program is offered twice a year.

Sept. 12-14, 2011 Jan. 2012
March 1-2, 2012 June 2012

How to apply

You may search nursing positions and apply online. Search using the position title "RN New Grad." Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

During the application process, you must provide the following documents in electronic format. Paper copies or documents sent by other means (fax, email or mail) will not be accepted.

  • Resume with clinical information
  • Official or unofficial transcript from your registrar's office
  • Nursing license (if obtained at time of application)

Once the above items are attached to your profile, click the submit button to complete the application process.

You cannot add attachments after you have applied, so ensure you add all required documents before submitting your application.

State of Arizona nursing (R.N.) licensure

To begin the R.N. state licensure application process prior to graduation, visit the Arizona State Board of Nursing website and click RN/LPN Application by Examination.
