MaxAbility Employment Taskforce
Mayo Clinic has led the development of this taskforce, which has a mission of maximizing career success for people with employment barriers and developing opportunities for businesses to meet hiring needs. This is done through three key strategies: network meetings, an annual job and resource fair, and membership and marketing.
Project SEARCH, a high school transition program, is a unique, business-led, one-year, school-to-work program that takes place entirely at the workplace. Total workplace immersion facilitates a seamless combination of classroom instruction, career exploration and hands-on training through worksite rotations.
