Radiology Modalities

The Department of Radiology produces more than 900,000 examinations annually using various modalities including:

  • Breast Imaging
  • Computed Tomography (CT)
  • General Diagnostic Imaging
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Ultrasound

  • Neurovasular/Interventional Imaging

The Department of Radiology provides its services to all age groups from neonatal through geriatric. These services are provided in an ambulatory outpatient setting and a hospital setting staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Over 130 radiologists and physicists cooperate with over 1,000 support staff to fulfill the mission of the department. Click here to learn about the many support staff positions in the department.
