Mayo Clinic in Florida provides nurses with the opportunity to practice in multiple specialties and settings, as well as develop advanced practice and leadership skills.

Nurse candidates must have a Florida nursing license upon date of hire. State of Florida licensing requirements and testing information can be found on the Florida Department of Health website.

Degree requirement

In support of Mayo Clinic quality outcomes, all nurses hired in the Department of Nursing after Dec. 31, 2012, must have a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) degree or obtain it within six years of their start date.
