Mayo Clinic in Minnesota has an Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic to coordinate care of patients and facilitate research on this disease. Other resources for patients include the Pulmonary Function Laboratory, the largest and most comprehensive of its kind, and the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program.
Care of patients with ILD is usually coordinated by a specialist from the Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic, a multidisciplinary clinic staffed by nationally recognized pulmonary (lung) specialists as well as experts from Radiology, Rheumatology and Surgical Pathology.
