The Mayo Clinic campus in Rochester is comprised of an extensive outpatient complex, two hospitals, as well as multiple research and education facilities. It is among the largest, most advanced medical centers in the world. Approximately 1,000 patients visit Mayo Clinic each day.

Mayo Clinic Pharmacy provides care to a diverse patient population with a wide range of medical conditions and drug therapies. The pharmacy employs about 175 people, including approximately 50 pharmacists. Six outpatient pharmacies, located throughout the Mayo Clinic campus, utilize state of the art technology to fill approximately 3,500 prescriptions per day.
