Lab Science

Applying to the Program

Qualifications

To participate in the Summer Lab Science Program (SLSP), you must be completing your junior year of a four-year baccalaureate program in chemistry, human biological sciences, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.

Prior to the program start, you will need to have 90 semester hours, or equivalent, from an accredited institution, including at minimum either:

  1. 24 semester hours of science courses that include one of the following:
    1. 16 hours of chemistry, six of which is inorganic chemistry or
    2. 16 hours of biology
      and
    3. Three hours of mathematics
  2. Six semester hours of chemistry, six semester hours of biology and 12 additional semester hours of chemistry, biology or medical laboratory technology in any combination.

Application

We are currently accepting applications for the 2010 Summer Lab Science Program. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on February 26, 2010.
