Hypnosis

FAQ

Do you surrender your free will when you're under hypnosis?
Hypnosis allows you to maintain a deeply concentrated state that helps you tap into your inner consciousness. While hypnotized, you don't lose your personality, free will or personal strength.

Does the hypnotist control you when you're hypnotized?
A hypnotist is a knowledgeable facilitator who guides, not controls, a person's mind. Participation in hypnosis is voluntary.

Do you lose consciousness and have amnesia during hypnosis?
Very few people experience amnesia while in a deep hypnotic state. Most people remember everything that happened during hypnosis.

Can you be put under hypnosis without your consent?
For hypnosis to be successful, a person must be highly motivated to participate. Hypnosis can only happen for those willing to experience it. Some people are more susceptible than others.
