Hodgkin Lymphoma

Research

Research in the area of Hodgkin lymphoma focuses on developing new treatment approaches for patients with this disease. Currently monoclonal antibodies and new drugs are being tested in clinical trials to determine whether these agents provide clinical benefit for patients. Additional research is being done by reviewing past experience to provide insight into future directions for research. Mayo is also leading a large epidemiology project to understand the factors that increase the risk of getting Hodgkin lymphoma and identifying genetic factors that predict disease outcome.
