Hemorrhoids

Symptoms

Symptoms usually depend on the location of the hemorrhoids and the severity of the condition.

Internal Hemorrhoids:

  • Generally no pain
  • Possibly bleeding
  • Feeling of fullness in rectum after a bowel movement
  • Protrusion of the hemorrhoid through the anal opening in severe cases
  • Skin tags (rare)

External Hemorrhoids:

  • Pain
  • Itching
  • Bleeding
  • Skin tags (bit of skin bulging off surrounding skin)
