Symptoms

Symptoms of hemophilia include:

• Bruising easily
• Bleeding into muscles or joints, which causes swelling and pain
• Excessive bleeding in the head, neck or throat
• Excessive bleeding after dental procedures, circumcision, or other surgery
• Excessive or uncontrollable nosebleeds
• Gastrointestinal bleeding
• Urinary bleeding
