Heart Valve Disease Clinic

Mayo Clinic Rochester's Heart Valve Disease Clinic offers patients a state-of-the-art examination and evaluation. The clinic is staffed by nationally recognized cardiologists with a subspecialty expertise in the evaluation and treatment of heart valve problems and the complications that may accompany the disorder.

The Heart Valve Disease Clinic uses the Mayo Clinic multispecialty team approach that emphasizes communication and coordination among a patient's clinical cardiologist, heart rhythm specialists (electrophysiologists), cardiac surgeons, and cardiologists in the Clinic's catheterization, echocardiographic, and nuclear laboratories. All currently accepted treatments for patients with heart valve disease are available at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, as well as newer investigational therapies.
