An integrated team of doctors trained in many medical specialties works together to ensure favorable outcomes from your heart transplant.
Your transplant team may include transplant doctors, surgeons, a transplant coordinator, a clinical nurse specialist, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, cardiac rehabilitation specialists, infectious disease doctors, dietitians, pharmacists and a financial representative.
