Interventional cardiologists perform heart catheterizations with state-of-the-art equipment in the modern Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Mayo Clinic. The experienced health care team provides diagnoses and treatment plans based on each patient's medical needs.
Heart catheterizations are performed by specialists within the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases.
Patients typically must be referred by their primary physicians, or evaluated by a Mayo Clinic cardiologist, before making an appointment for heart catheterization.
