University of Minnesota Student Participation

Among the participants in the 2008 Mayo Health Policy Symposium were graduate students from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. This diverse and enthusiastic group of tomorrow's health policy specialists attended every session, participated in discussions and held special question and answer exchanges with symposium speakers.

The result was a collaborative white paper outlining their recommendations for health care reform. We present their conclusions here for the first time. The ideas and words are theirs. The Mayo Clinic Health Policy Center wishes to thank Professor James Hart and his class for their interest and involvement and wish them the best as they pursue their careers.
