Southwest Conference on Health Care Reform
Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano, leaders from Mayo Clinic and the Mayo Clinic Health Policy Center, and other speakers will examine health reform efforts in the southwest region and how they mesh with the emerging reform recommendations of the Health Policy Center. During the interactive event, participants will identify areas for potential collaboration to further the action steps identified at Mayo Clinic's National Symposium on Health Care Reform held in March 2008. The conference is jointly hosted by the Mayo Clinic Health Policy Center and Arizona State University.

Preparing for the Future of Health Care
The Mayo Clinic Health Policy Center will begin a dialogue about how the nation must transform medical, allied health, nursing and engineering education in order to create the health care work force of the future. This event will be held in Rochester, Minn.
