General Internal Medicine in Minnesota

Research

The Division of General Internal Medicine conducts active and diverse research and is home to several nationally prominent research efforts, including Mayo's Vaccine Research Group. Research into health care delivery systems and quality is also an ongoing and important focus.

Physicians within the division participate in research projects throughout Mayo Clinic. Areas of research include bioinformatics, complementary and integrative medicine, nicotine dependence, women's health, patient care quality improvement, medical education research, and clinical research within and across the division's specialty clinics.
