Gastroenterologists at Mayo Clinic in Florida are among the most experienced in the southeast United States in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) techniques. At the state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center, more than 15,000 outpatient procedures are completed annually, including colonoscopy, laser endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasonography. People who require hospitalization at Mayo Clinic in Florida are admitted to the Mayo Clinic hospital, a 214-bed hospital on the Jacksonville campus.

Treatment Team

Mayo Clinic emphasizes collaborative care. Many health care professionals work together to determine how best to treat each person. The gastric cancer health care team is comprised of specialists from General Surgery, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Hematology/Oncology and Radiation Oncology.
