Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is conducting experimental laboratory tests aimed at identifying genes thought to be involved with familial FSGS. Patients or family members interested in participating in these tests can call 507-266-1044 for more information.

The Mayo Nephrology Collaborative Group (MNCG) is developing and conducting prospective studies aimed at treating patients with renal parenchymal diseases, including familial focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. The MNCG is a consortium of nephrologists from Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, Florida and Arizona as well as clinical and academic nephrologists across the United States.
