Symptoms

Symptoms of floor of the mouth cancer include:

• A persistent sore in the mouth that gets bigger
• Ongoing pain in the mouth
• Lumps or white, red or dark patches inside the mouth
• Difficulty moving the jaw
• Swelling or pain in the jaw
• Pain around the teeth, or loosening of the teeth
• Numbness in the mouth
• Severe pain in an ear that has a normal eardrum
• Lumps in the neck
• Dentures that do not fit
