Doctors at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota diagnose and treat Ewing sarcoma in children and adults.
Ewing sarcoma is treated by a team of experienced specialists in pediatric hematology/oncology, general surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology and orthopedic oncology. As an example of the team approach, soon after a pediatric patient's arrival, a pediatric oncologist, surgeon and radiation oncologist evaluate the patient at the same time, allowing these specialists to confer immediately. In addition, specialists hold a weekly tumor conference to discuss current cases.
