   The purpose of this study is to study HIV infected individuals or others who have had another infection or inflammatory condition that may affect the content or structure of lymph nodes or may have none of these conditions and the sample will be used as a normal control.

2. Laboratory Assay Optimization 2.0

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to better understand the role of HIV and/or HCV infection on the immune system and potential ways to eliminate the virus(es).

3. Collection of Blood Samples from a Population at Low Risk for HIV Infection

   Rochester, Minn.

   The objective of this protocol is to collect EDTA-plasma and serum samples from adult subjects at low-risk for HIV infection. These samples will be used in Roche-sponsored clinical trial studies designed to evaluate molecular and serologic assays for the diagnosis and monitoring of HIV infection.

4. Characterizing HIV-related Diastolic Dysfunction

   The purpose of this study is to better understand how the heart’s health and function is affected by HIV infection and use of active antiretroviral therapy.

    

    

5. A Study of the Effect of Ixazomib on the Reservoir of T Cells Infected with HIV DNA

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability of ixazomib in HIV infected patients who are on a stable regimen of ART that suppresses HIV replication, and to determine the effectiveness of ixazomib on reservoir T cells that are infected with HIV DNA.
