Ladan Zand, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension with expertise in treating patients with glomerular diseases. She completed her medical school training at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine (Toronto, ON) and her internal medicine residency training and nephrology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. Her research interest focuses on finding novel therapeutic approaches in management of patients with glomerulonephritis including FSGS, membranous nephropathy, fibrillary GN, IgA nephropathy, ANCA associated vasculitis, lupus nephritis, and PGNMID. Her interest also focuses on the role of monoclonal gammopathy in causing kidney injury and predictors of finding in MGRS in patients with CKD and MGUS. She is the principal investigator in several ongoing clinical trials at the Mayo Clinic in the field of glomerular diseases. She has published over 70 peer-reviewed publications.
