The mission of Environmental Services at Mayo Clinic is to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff in keeping with the mission and philosophy of the Mayo Clinic. This mission is supported by more than 700 Environmental Services staff who keep Mayo Clinic's 80+ buildings clean, orderly, and safe.

Environmental Services staff are involved in cleaning, waste removal, recycling, pick-up and delivery, preventive maintenance, and construction clean up. They are valued for the work they do to provide the best possible experience for patients.

Environmental Services staff work in Mayo Clinic's two hospitals, Saint Marys Hospital and Rochester Methodist Hospital, and in more than 50 other Mayo Clinic buildings in Rochester.
