Dysphagia

Overview

Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) comprises problems which usually fall into two categories:

  • Oropharyngeal dysphagia is related to nerve and muscle problems that can weaken your throat muscles and make it difficult to move food from your mouth into your throat.
