Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Abdominal or stomach pain
  2. diarrhea
  3. dizziness
  4. earache or pain in the ear
  5. nausea
  6. voice changes
  7. vomiting

Rare

  1. Blindness
  2. blurred vision
  3. change in hearing
  4. change in vision
  5. pain or discomfort in the eye

Incidence not known

  1. Black, tarry stools
  2. bleeding gums
  3. blood in the urine or stools
  4. dark-colored urine
  5. decrease in urine amount
  6. general feeling of tiredness or weakness
  7. hives or welts or skin rash
  8. large, hive-like swelling on the face, eyelids, lips, tongue, throat, hands, legs, feet, or sex organs
  9. lethargy
  10. light-colored stools
  11. lower back or side pain
  12. pale skin
  13. puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue
  14. redness, soreness or itching of the skin
  15. sores, welting, or blisters
  16. stomach pain, continuing
  17. unusual bleeding or bruising
  18. vomiting of blood or material that looks like coffee grounds
  19. yellow eyes or skin
