Blood Assurance Program

By joining with a group of your friends, neighbors or coworkers to donate blood products for the Blood Assurance Program, you can help meet the community's needs and lower your costs in the event you should ever need blood.

When a group participates in the Blood Assurance Program, we waive the processing fees not covered by insurance for banked blood products (red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma, platelets and cryoprecipitate). This benefit applies to all donating and non-donating members, employees and their families, as defined by the IRS.

If you have received a blood transfusion and qualify for reimbursement, please contact Donor Services at
507-284-4475 to submit your claim.
