Mayo Clinic researchers are working to improve the accuracy of tests that diagnose pulmonary hypertension and predict the outcome and severity of the disease. Mayo researchers are at the forefront of efforts to use biomarkers to assess the disease's severity. Mayo physicians also are involved in studies of new medications for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension.
