Minnesota

Doctors trained in cardiovascular diseases and cardiovascular surgery treat people who have arrhythmia at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Staff in the Heart Rhythm Clinic evaluates and treats people who have all types of heart rhythm disorders. Staff in the Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Ablation Laboratory conducts electrophysiology tests, catheter ablation and other procedures to treat people who have heart rhythm disorders.

You don't need a physician referral to make an appointment. Cardiologists generally can see most people within two weeks after their appointment requests, and often cardiologists can see people within a week or less after the appointment request. If you have urgent issues, you usually can be seen within 24 hours after your request. In emergencies, you're directly transferred to inpatient hospital care.
