Some insurers require referrals or may have additional requirements for certain medical care. All appointments are prioritized on the basis of medical need.

Minnesota

Doctors trained in pediatric cardiology, cardiovascular diseases, cardiovascular surgery and other areas work together in the Center for Congenital Heart Disease at Mayo Clinic's campus in Minnesota to care for adults and children with Ebstein's anomaly.

No referral from a doctor is necessary. Cardiologists generally can see most people within two weeks after their appointment requests, and often cardiologists can see people within a week or less after the appointment request. People with urgent issues can usually be seen within 24 hours after their requests. In emergencies, people are directly transferred to inpatient hospital care.

Children

Doctors trained in treating children with heart disease (pediatric cardiologists), cardiovascular surgery and other areas work together in the Center for Congenital Heart Disease at Mayo Clinic's campus in Minnesota to care for children with Ebstein's anomaly and other congenital heart diseases.

Children with congenital heart disease are cared for in the Mayo Clinic Children's Center at Mayo Clinic's campus in Minnesota.
