Overview

The Critical Care Independent Multidisciplinary Program (IMP) provides integrated critical care services. Critical care medicine specialists provide comprehensive medical management for individuals following major surgery or after trauma, as well as those who are critically ill. These individuals require advanced monitoring and care in the intensive care unit (ICU) setting.

The full spectrum of ICU services is provided by specialty trained intensivists who are present in the hospital 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Critical Care IMP is formally a division of Anesthesiology.
