Spine Interest Group

By Mayo Clinic Staff

Spine conditions can include pain affecting the spine and limbs, damage to nerve roots which supply the limbs with innervation, and damage to the spinal cord.

Mayo Clinic neurologists trained in spine conditions evaluate and treat people with spine conditions.

Mayo Clinic neurologists work closely with doctors trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation, brain and nervous system surgery (neurosurgeons), and orthopedic surgeons to care for people with acute and chronic spine problems.
