Resources For Physicians

By Mayo Clinic Staff

Referring a Patient

Mayo Clinic nephrologists and hypertension specialists are committed to providing a high level of service to physician colleagues outside of Mayo Clinic. Physicians who refer their patients to Mayo Clinic for specialized treatment are fully informed of the treatment their patients receive at Mayo Clinic. In addition, Mayo Clinic specialists are available to help coordinate follow-up and long term care for patients once they return home to their primary physician.
