Clinical trials Below are current clinical trials.94 studies in Hematology (open studies only). Filter this list of studies by location, status and more. A Study to Evaluate the Combination of Selinexor with Pomalidomide and Dexamethasone +/- Carfilzomib to Treat Patients with Refractory Multiple Myeloma Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate selinexor combined with carfilzomib, pomalidomide and dexamethasone or pomalidomide and dexamethasone for the treatment of relapsed refractory multiple myeloma. A Study to Evaluate Daratumumab/rHuPh20 +/- Lenalidomide as Post-ASCT Maintenance for Multiple Myeloma with Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) to Direct Therapy Duration Rochester, Minn., Eau Claire, Wis., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The primary purpose of this study is to compare overall survival between two treatment arms, with lenalidomide as the comparator arm and lenalidomide + daratumumab/rHuPH20 as the experimental arm, in post-autologous transplant multiple myeloma (MM) patients. A Study to Assess Financial Burden and Its Impact on Quality of Life in Patients with Plasma Cell Disorders Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the magnitude of financial toxicity in newly diagnosed and relapsed multiple myeloma (MM) and amyloidosis (AL) patients. SX-682 Treatment in Subjects With Myelodysplastic Syndrome Who Had Disease Progression or Are Intolerant to Prior Therapy Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to determine the safety profile, maximum tolerated dose (MTD), dose-limiting toxicities (DLT), and recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of SX-682 in the treatment of patients with Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS). A Study to Evaluate Acalabrutinib With or Without Obinutuzumab to Treat Early-Stage Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia or Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma Patients Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. This phase II trials studies how well acalabrutinib with or without obinutuzumab works in treating participants with early-stage chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma. Acalabrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as obinutuzumab, may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. It is not yet known whether giving acalabrutinib with or without obinutuzumab will work better in treating participants with early-stage chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma. Mismatched Related Donor Versus Matched Unrelated Donor Stem Cell Transplantation for Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults With Acute Leukemia or Myelodysplastic Syndrome Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to compare the 1-year cumulative incidence of severe GVHD (from day of HCT) defined as Grade III-IV acute GVHD (aGVHD) and/or chronic GVHD (cGVHD) that requires systemic immunosuppression and to compare the disease free survival (DFS) (from time of randomization) in children and young adults (AYA) with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoid leukemia (ALL), and Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) who are randomly assigned to haploHCT or to an 8/8 adult MUD HCT. A Study to Evaluate Minimal Residual Disease in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to compare whether minimal residual disease (MRD) flow cytometric assay is not affected by different anticoagulants. Hematology Electronic Consultations (e-Consults) the Mayo Clinic Experience Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to evaluate hematology e-consults to determine their specific use, time to completion, advantages and disadvantages, perceptions from primary care physicians and specialists and economic impact. A Study of CA-4948 in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. This is a multi-center, open-label trial of orally administered CA-4948 monotherapy in adult patients with Relapsed or Refractory NHL. The trial will be conducted in 2 parts: an initial Dose Escalation Phase (Part A) of CA-4948 in patients with Relapsed or Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, (RR NHL) and a Dose Expansion Phase (Part B) of CA-4948 in patients with RR NHL with and without myeloid differentiation primary response 88 (MYD88) mutations. During Part B, patients will be enrolled regardless of MYD88 mutation status. A Study Evaluating the Safety, Efficacy, and Pharmacokinetics of Mosunetuzumab in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmaokinetics, and preliminary effectiveness of mosunetuzumab in participants with relapsed or refractory (R/R) chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). The patient comes first. So the mission and research here is to advance how we can best help the patient, how to make sure the patient comes first in care. So in many ways, it's a cycle. It can start with as simple as an idea worked on in a laboratory, brought to the patient bedside, and if everything goes right — and let's say it's helpful or beneficial — then brought on as a standard approach. And I think that is one of the unique characteristics of Mayo's approach to research — that patient-centeredness — that really helps to put it in its own spotlight.
