Continuous Improvement and Outcomes Research in the Delivery of Endocrine Services

This work group oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of methods of health-care delivery for people with endocrine diseases with the goal of developing and using innovative methods to deliver the highest quality, lowest cost, and most satisfying care.

The Endocrinology-Health Services Research

An Interdepartmental Link for Multidisciplinary Research
The Endocrinology Health Services Research Program is intended to facilitate disease-specific research initiatives within the Division of Endocrinology. The Program is being coordinated by the Section of Health Services Evaluation of the Department of Health Sciences Research. The program will initially focus on the development, implementation, and evaluation of health-care services for persons with chronic diseases, including diabetes, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and throughout the Mayo Health System. The program is supported through both extramural and intramural funding sources. Consultants from the Division of Endocrinology are jointly appointed in the Section of Health Services Evaluation of the Department of Health Sciences Research.
