One of the first institutions to perform contemporary dental implant surgery in the 1980s, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., has analyzed and published the results of implant care, including long-term studies that address the effectiveness of this surgery and restorative treatment. Published results provide opportunities for others to learn from Mayo's experience, benefiting people everywhere.
