Mayo Clinic emphasizes collaborative care. Many health care professionals work together to determine how best to treat each patient. The core team comprises members of the Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery. They work with specialists from Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Hematology/Oncology and Radiation Oncology as appropriate.
