Resource Room Provides Cancer Information

If you seek information about cancer, look no farther than the eighth floor of the Davis Building at Mayo Clinic. We've teamed up with the American Cancer Society to offer a range of resources and information about the disease. Designed with comfort in mind, this quiet room provides a spot where you can surf Mayo's online information pages and register with the American Cancer society to receive free services — from literature to support groups.

You'll also find:

• A wig display
• Information about receiving wigs and prosthesis from local American Cancer Society "Gift Closets" and vendors
• Books (to read in the Cancer Resource Room)
• Pamphlets and brochures (to take home)
• A phone (local calls only), fax and printer

For convenience, a volunteer is available to help with the computer and answer questions. The Cancer Resource Room is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
