Dr. William Freeman has joined the Department of Neurology from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., where he recently completed a fellowship in critical care neurology. Freeman earned a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed a residency in neurology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
Otolaryngology
Dr. Christopher Garvey has joined the Department of Otolaryngology. Garvey most recently was in private practice at North Florida Otolaryngology Associates in Jacksonville. He received a medical degree from Pennsylvania State University
College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa., completed a surgical internship at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Ga., and a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Garvey is board certified in otolaryngology.
Radiology
Dr. Vivek Gupta has joined the Department of Radiology from the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock. Gupta earned a medical degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, where he also completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. He also completed an internship at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, as well as a residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in neuroradiology at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. He is board certified in radiology and neuroradiology.

Siyong Kim, Ph.D., has joined the Department of Radiation Oncology from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Kim earned a master's in nuclear engineering from Seoul National University in Korea and a Ph.D. in medical physics/radiation therapy from the University of Florida.
